The event will run on Weekend May 28, from the day into the evening. Beginning fowl passes will be for selling from Friday Feb 9 for £20 from Citizen Consultant. Other functions will consist of Delayed Night Tuff Guy, who may perform a set devoted to Southern London’s very own Bob Bowie.

Drinks will come from Brixton Brewery, Cover Alcohol in Herne Mountain and Peckham’s Stone Brewery among others. The festival will host a lineup of internationally renowned DJ’s alongside food stalls and bars, people will have fun with the night and of also the delicious foods!

South London’s independent food, drink and music will be put in the spotlight once more when Gala festival returns for its second year on the late May Bank Holiday Sunday.

Set in Brockwell Park in Herne Hill, and close to Brixton, the festival will host a lineup of internationally renowned DJs alongside food stalls and bars – all of which have roots in or ties to South London.

Iconic disco outfits Studio 54 and Paradise Garage will headline, while Horse Meat Disco is curating its own stage with guests to include Honey Soundsystem and Mood II Swing.
